Augustin Bengolea French-Argentinian, born in Argentina in 1992. Moved to France at 10, grew up in Grenoble.
After high school, I started a Civil Engineering degree. That's where I discovered computer science and decided to make it my career. I then switched and obtained a degree in Computer Science.
After my degree, a year of travel (Argentina, California), then studies and work in Quebec. Back to France and resumed studies in 2018 with a Master's.
I was already using AI to help me code, but in early 2025, I started seriously thinking about integrating it into my daily workflow. Some of that reflection can be found on this site.

Full-stack Engineer ◆ Regulated Industries ◆ AI Tooling
I answer problems by building custom solutions, and the work has several sides: front end, back end, devops, and since the Claude Code beta, agent tooling. Before I build a solution, I dig: understand the problem from every angle, then implement it. I adapt the way I work to the models, and one thing holds: the context of the project, a plan before the code, an agent that can always test what it does. That frame is what I set up in projects: the architecture and the infrastructure that make agents work properly, and leave the team at ease.

2026 personal Etch Local activity log for agent-assisted development
TypeScriptBunEffect
It keeps track of what the agents did, rebuilds the work threads and writes recaps, and everything stays on the machine. The second version sets its rules from day one: no error swallowed, strict schemas at the boundaries, an automatic check on every change.
2025 - 2026 personal IdeAs Personal monorepo: CV generator, journal, job search
TypeScriptPythonGo +3 site
I keep my personal apps in a single repository, with an automatic check per module and a wiki the agents maintain.
2026 open source Skills for Claude Code and Codex Public library of reusable skills for agents
RustPython code
I keep a library of skills, each one installable on its own with its helper tools. A validator checks the header of every skill before each commit, next to the tests and a secret scan.
2026 personal Le petit manège de la classe Classroom app: random draw, balanced teams, responsibilities
TypeScriptSvelte codesite
You paste a list of students, draw a name, build balanced teams and export the result as a PDF. The names never leave the browser, and nothing is tracked.
2025 - 2026 open source Plugins for Claude Code Public plugin catalog that keeps the agent's work on rails
Bun code
Plugins you install with a single command: commands, skills, guardrails on the main branch and on destructive actions. I maintain the catalog with an automatic check on its consistency.
2025 - 2026 personal Dotfiles Versioned development environment, one profile per machine
